Hello everybody,
I was scouring the Ashbridge’s Bay forum looking for a team to join and I saw a lot of individuals doing the same thing as I was.
So I thought, why not make a team?
I am 26 years old and 5’4, played volleyball all through high school and on intermural teams during university. Being vertically challenged has made me incredibly scrappy. I trained as a setter and libero, but will play any position. I miss playing on a regular basis and what better way than to get all sandy on a beach with some good people.

My boyfriend and I are interested in playing on the Friday night I realize that we missed the deadline but I’m hoping that maybe someone out there has a team that needs a couple more players.
Fede is 29, 6′3″ and played professionally in Argentina and he plays on a soccer team at the moment.

Summer – Mondays – July 5th – end of August
Hi there
We are a team of 4 (2 males and 2 females) who vary between beginner and intermediate. We are all physically active, fit and play other sports. Our primary objective is to have some fun. We would definitely be interested in going out for a couple of drinks/relaxing after the games.
Our team consists of:
Male – 6′2 – played before recreationally – age – 26
Male – 5′9 – played before recreationally – age – 30
Female – 5′9 – intermediate level – age – 31
Female 5′9 – beginner – age – 24
I am hoping to form a team of 7 so that we have at least one person as a redundancy and ideally, if all 7 show up to every game we can rotate every 5 points or something (I played in a team like that a few years ago and it worked very well). If we can form a team now, we could also start going out to the beach once a week in June and practise/play for fun/further our team chemistry with after v-ball socials.

We’re the type of team who comes out each week to have fun, get in some exercise, and do our best. Hopefully we win but we don’t take ourselves or the game too seriously. We’re an athletic bunch, and where we have strength in our game, we don’t always have accuracy (read: we try for 3 hits, but it doesn’t always go that way.
) Sometimes we’ll go for drinks afterwards, and laugh at the funny moments of our games that night.

We are looking for skilled players to play Weds or Thurs Mixed or Co-ed 4’s. I am 5′10″ male with much experience from high school senior captain to coaching high school senior boys for 3 years and still play competitive indoor, I am very quick and cover lots of court defensively. My other partner is 6′2″ male with great blocking skills as well as quick to cover large areas defensively.

I’m an ex New Zealand National Indoor and Beach player, with 15 years experience. I have at times had some of the best beach coaching in the world in Australia and Brazil. I last played internationally in April 2011 and last year on part of the Australian Tour. I am now the mother of a 4 1/2 year old boy and not quite so fit, but still committed to being competitive, having a healthy lifestyle and having fun. I am looking for a player for 2 aside on Monday or Friday’s for Spring and or Summer. Oh I am a defense specialist so I need to partner with an all rounder or blocking expert- not essential perhaps someone with children around the same age who come down to the beach too?

I’ve played intermediate co-ed 4’s before and is what I prefer to play. I’m looking to join a team that is competitive but there to have a good time above all else. I have been playing since 15 and beach for about 5 years, so I know my way around the court.
